OSC Answers Questions

QUESTION:

How long did it take you to write the book "Ender's Game"?

-- Submitted Anonymously

OSC REPLIES: - January 29, 2003

I wrote the first few chapters of "Ender's Game(the novel) in one week, then went on a book-signing trip to Utah for the launch of "Woman of Destiny" (the first published title of "Saints") and, when I returned, finished the novel in three weeks. All this happened in the December-January period of 1983-84.
