OSC Answers Questions

QUESTION:

I noticed many analogies in the Ender sequels to Mormonism, but I can't find any official statement by OSC to confirm the ones I've found, or to shed light on ones I hadn't seen before. Are there intentional ties to Mormonism in the Ender sequels?

Any analogies to Mormon ideas in the Ender books are entirely unconscious and unintended. When I do such things deliberately - as a sort of wink to those who get the joke - it's very obvious and needs no confirmation from me (i.e., the Homecoming series taking their plot from the Book of Mormon; the Alvin books being tied to Joseph Smith's life).
