QUESTION:

You have written books of many genres. Sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, suspense fiction, etc. What is most enjoyable for you?

I write in so many genres because they're all enjoyable to me, and I understand how they work. Some genres I simply don't understand -- I don't know how to write a mystery, for instance. Other genres I don't have enough interest to write a good book in -- like romance, or westerns. And since I can only afford to write books that are likely to get published, I can't write in the mainstream literary genre, because, having written sci-fi, I am forever soiled and cannot drink from the Pierian Spring ...
