I want to thank everyone for their comments thus far. I've spent a great deal of time reflecting on each of them, and now I believe I've constructed a decent opening chapter. I really think I'm beginning to come along on this project, and I'd like a few readers for what I have thus far. It's 1600 words, War/Detective Genres. I would be happy to give it a read. My crits tend to be innocent questions from a readers POV and not a lot of technical issues but I will help where ever I can.
