p.s. I just noticed I've been a member here for four years. The above is my first sale longer than flash fiction.
Four years AFTER I stopped writing in a vacuum and joined a writer's forum and began critiquing and swapping and that was about four years after I started writing every day.
They say the first one is the hardest.
I think what I'm trying to say is persistence pays off. That's the first of many! (I hope)

I have two flash fiction ideas that are currently stopping me from thinking of anything new. So I'll have to write them to get them out of my brain. I don't think either are very good, but I have to purge them anyway.
Otherwise I'm working on my WotF entry for quarter 2. I skipped last quarter so this one's close to ready despite the calendar saying Feb 3.

I just read that story a few days ago, and really liked it. I'm glad to see it was a Hatracker who wrote it. Good work!
