I have written an approx. 4500 word short story, fantasy, set in Victorian England. I've refined it to the point that I'm just about read to send it off to an editor, but I wanted a few reads from writers to give it a final polish.

Yeah, Earendil, I got it. Thanks for the comments, all of you who have helped me out! If any of you haven't gotten the copy of my story, please let me know. I did send it from a different email address than the one listed here, so that may have messed things up.
