It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.
So this crazy thing happened to me yesterday. I finished. Yes, my Camp NaNo-April novel, What Lies Beneath, is finished. Final total 132,580 words. You'll have to pardon me, but I'm still kind of in shock about this. This means I wrote 42,339 words last week. It would have been more probably, since I stopped early yesterday, but obviously I kind of ran out of story to tell.
Beyond that, I had another couple of plot bunnies hop in, and now my farm is getting full. One that came last night is chewing pretty hard on my brain, which has resulted in little sleep but lots of notes. As always, I need more hours for all these stories.
I also wrote a few blog posts. I'm still working on a crit and got one MS back from my editor. I'm hoping to have another to give her soon.

Last week, I finished up a new opening scene for a story, about 750 words total, and then this morning, I realized I could feed in some needed info without having an info dump. Now to find time to write.

Just mundane maunderings here and not much else. Been developing ideas for the milieu of a new trilogy I'm working on. The nice thing is that the trilogy is a naturally occurring one; A begets B which begets C, without it being a forced contrivance.
