Anyone know offhand a poison that would act quickly and that would stay liquid in a fountain pen for several days and that would flow and otherwise act much like ink?

It's funny to think that in most other forums that post would lead to a police investigation.
Sadly the most helpful I can be is to refer to another series of posts that talked about poisons. I think there were some suggested links/sources in there.

There was an incident many years ago (11th September 1978, a Google search tells me) in the UK in which a Bulgarian writer, Georgi Markov, was killed by being stabbed with an umbrella, specially designed. The poison in this instance was ricin. I seem to recall that there was talk of fountain-pen-based devices along the same lines.
Do a Google search on ricin umbrella Bulgarian Markov and there are a range of links to chase up on.

There are a lot of nerve agents that can readily be dissolved in ink without affecting its normal function, and which would be lethal in small quantities. Depending on whether you wanted the ink to remain poisonous, there are nerve agents that will evaporate in the open and those that will remain liquid.

It is an article about a young soldier who was duped by a pretty young girl to sneak notes into Goehring in prison during the Nuremberg trials. The notes were contained within a fountain pen. The notes went back and forth for a while. The young soldier was becoming more and more enamoured of the young woman. But Goehring was unwell and one day she included a pill in the pen, telling the young soldier it was medicine and if Goehring felt better she would send more.
However, after delivering the notes and pill, the young soldier never saw the pretty girl again. Goehring killed himself with a cyanide pill shortly afterward.
The young soldier is now seventy-eight and the statute of limitations has run out. He was convinced by his daughter to come forward. He said, 'I never meant to do anything that would let him escape the gallows.'
Puts new meaning to the phrase Poison Pen.
