I appreciated the recommendations. I've got the fantasy side covered pretty well, but not the sci-fi. If anybody else is looking for more fantasy recommendations, I suggest Andrew Peterson's Wingfeather Saga. It's a 4 book (completed) series in the YA grouping, but with plenty of depth, humor and good writing, as OSC is apt to point out is often present but overlooked in YA fiction.
It's not widely known at this point, but it should be. You can buy it at his website as well as browse other artists' material at the Rabbit Room: http://www.rabbitroom.com
Read them and review them, Orson!

Does anybody know if OSC reads this forum? Does he ever post here? Or should I find other means to ask him to review the Wingfeather Saga?

His wife Kristine occasionally posts here, and it seems she reads the board regularly, too. It doesn't appear that OSC himself comes here regularly anymore, though. (Or, at least, he doesn't post responses if he does read the threads.)
