Even though most of my posts are fluff, I have finally reached 1000! And it's only been about two months! (is that a record?)
I've noticed that a lot of you joined because you had friends here. Well, I didn't. I had just started getting into role-playing, and decided I wanted to join an online game. I vaguely remembered something about Hatrack 1830's here, so I decided to check it out. When I found VBS, I was thrilled! Ever since I had read Ender's Game, I had thought it would be cool if there was an RPG!
Anyway, soon after I joined VBS, I decided to join this forum. It all went downhill from there. Staying on the computer for hours at a time, staying up 'till midnight posting, etc, etc. I know you'll all admit, I was a hopeless newbie, and still am. I was totally clueless about everything. Good grief, I lost my innocence to you people! There were words I had to look up in the dictionary, and wish I never did!
However, I am glad I joined Hatrack, and now I'm totally addicted. Thank you to everyone for destroying hopes of getting anything usefull done.
And now, for the mushy part.
((((((Raia and Marek))))) Thank you so much! When I first joined, you guys really made me feel welcome. Most people stuck up their noses at newbies, but you didn't. You guys made me feel like I fit right in, and I'll never forget that. (((((Raia and Marek)))))

(((((Annie))))) For keeping Photoshop Phriday going. I don't have time to submit entries, but I love to see what other people are doing!

I'll think of more people to thank later. Right now my brain is kind of frozen...

I know. I saw a lot of people that had been here a long time, and knew each other so well. It made me wish I had joined sooner. But Raia and Marek fixed that! (((((Raia and Marek))))
And it did exist in AOL, but I'm not sure how far back.

I'm glad I could help you feel more welcome, I thought I was still a hopeless newbie, but thanks. You have helped make this place more fun too, and made me feel less out of place here, so thank you. I've only been here four months and have way fewer posts than you do, but if I was helpful in makeing you feel like you fit in here and should stay then good, because you do and you should.

Just messin' with you. Congrats on 1000 I suppose, although I don't think that having 1000 posts in two months makes you any less "new". Time would be the factor in newness.
I plan on never reaching 1000 posts. My next screen name is ready and waiting if that day ever comes along. If people think you are new, they will let you get away with more crap.

You suck, and we all really wish you would just leave this forum. I was talking to raia a couple nights ago and she told me about how she was writing a song to sing in chorus about how much she hates you. Yeah that's right, and you thought she was your friend, shows what you know.
