I personally love getting annotated books (as long as I can still read the words, nothing scratched out) it’s like looking into someone else’s experience reading a book. I’m a sucker for finding old writings in books, I’ll try to find drawings in textbook margins because I find the thoughts of others fascinating. Do other people enjoy seeing annotations? Or do you find it more annoying when it comes to just focusing on the book?

I'm not a fan of reading books. I'd rather love watching movies and playing video games though I know that reading books are benefial.

Annotating a book can help make you a more active reader and give you a more fulfilling reading experience.

Annotating the books you own is a good way to keep track of the thoughts you have while reading. Your notes give you something to refer to later, and it can be good practice for diving deeper into the literature, and ultimately increasing your critical and analytical thinking skills.
