I set up the 2012 league, and sent out emails to all managers I could. I made the league searchable, with the name Hatrack, and set the password as Hatrack.
Anyone want to join up? It should be an interesting year, with all of the personnel changes so far.

So long as I lose here and win in my pay league like I did last year, you can feel free to crush me to your heart's delight.

I'm going to crush you all like...something that was very thoroughly crushed!
Heck, if DeMarco Murray hadn't blown out his knee in the first quarter of our playoffs I would have won the whole thing! Prepareith thineselves for the forthcoming crush-ith-ing!

Looking at my team last you I STILL don't fully understand how I only came in 3rd. Rice, Welker, Rivers, Hernandez, Lynch, Bryant and Antonio Brown?
That was a pretty damn good team. I just flopped in the playoffs. IIRC, I outscored both teams in the finals the next week. LOL

We tried that a few seasons ago and all that happened was that everyone put in 3 RB's. There is more talent at WR than RB, and I thought the balance was better without the flex last season.
My suggestion is to wait to see how many teams we get before changing that. If everyone else wants that we can do it, but let's wait to see first.

Considering there's a PPR element to our league that most other leagues I've played in don't have, it still weights things toward a WR. The last two seasons I've gotten smoked at WR and ended up with bonus RBs, but couldn't pull off a trade, and couldn't have drafted any better.
I'll play either way, but I like the flex play.

For clarification: I will help facilitate, but it's Superstation who will be making the choices (I may make occasional suggestions, but it's his team). So if you lose, know that it was to an eight-year-old. Just sayin'.

Heya Papa Moose...if we don't get another player by draft day hey don't you join with your own team? Gotta have even numbers right?

I'm probably going to have to help Superstation with his draft, and I'll be helping Mooselet in another league. I don't have that kind of time.
(And Superstation did indeed win the playoff fantasy league he entered last year, so he's far from ignorant, but it's his first time doing a draft, and I'll need to be left with a little bit of sanity.)

If there's an odd number, I'll sign up. I haven't done a fantasy team the last two years. It would be fun to get back in the game. Where do I sign up?

We have an even number of teams ATM, which I don't understand, unless someone dropped out...
But we are in Yahoo fantasy football under the league "hatrack". I tried to send you an invite, but for the life of my can't find a way to do so.

I don't know if Superstation really gets the draft thing -- we'll have to see how it goes. Eh, what's the worst that could happen? He learns something for next year.
Kwea, how does the IR position work? That is, how is it different from another bench?

If IR works here like it does in ESPN, IR basically is a bench seat, but the only people who can occupy it must be designated injured by Yahoo.

And if they are removed from the injury list by Yahoo, what happens? Do we have a day to drop someone or something?

On ESPN, they sort of hover there for a day and then they force you to make a roster move. But I'm not positive how Yahoo handles that.

Based on the Commissioner's Note, I'm guessing you don't draft for the position, but if one of your players goes IR, you can hold on to him?

Hey -- is something gonna change on the page so there's a link to the actual draft? I see mock drafts and testing to see if the draft will work, but I feel uncomfortable not knowing what to click to actually get into the live draft.
ETA: Ok, it's there. I feel better.

IDP is a a big learning curve the first time out, especially the way Yahoo "helps" you pick IDP players. You have to do some legwork ahead of time. I learned that the hard way the first year.

After waivers are done he will be able to shore up his D...the filters for looking up players in Yahoo are very helpful.

There area almost always a couple decent guys on waivers to snag on any given week. It's why I didn't worry too much about picking up backups.

I hate the pressure!
Screw you....this is the 3rd time I've gotten the LAST draft pick! It's horrible!
I was on auto-draft the first 4-5 rounds. My phone was a horrible device to try it on, and by the time I made it home....oh well.
It could have been worse, but I would have snagged Sproles over MJD, as I have had him on every single team I have had other than this one. Also, he is a featured back now. And I would have gone deeper at RB, but they were pretty much all gone once I got my 3rd round pick.
I got a good team, I started drafting IDP players earlier and got a few good ones.
So...MJD may or may not be a Jag, and AP will have a very light load coming back. Not good..... And I have 4 good receivers, but no standouts this week....have to decide between Bryant and McCoy.....two good but inconsistent players.
