The World Series starts tonight. Any predictions on how it'll go?
Personally I think San Francisco has the edge. After Lee, I don't see the Rangers starters being that strong. And Lee has no easy task going up against Lincecum. Plus, as a friend pointed out this morning, to get Vlad Guerrero into the lineup during the 4 games in SF, the Rangers will have to play him in the outfield (no DH), which will create a defensive liability.
So my prediction is SF in six.

I have a general rule, which is always right, unless it isn't. That rule is this: the pundits are always wrong (unless they are right). In that spirit, I predict this:
Rangers in six games. Each game is a slugfest, except for game 5, during which 2 second-line pitchers each take shutouts into the sixth inning. And Vlad Guerrerro makes at least one gold-glove caliber defensive play.
