I admit that I am an NPR buff. I love listening to the news from its many sources, even if it has a more liberal note.
But when I'm traveling my news source can disappear. Or during Pledge Drive my need for news and opinion drives me to listen to other sources--AM radio.
I have done so two times in the past month. On three totally different stations, listening to three totally different types of conservative radio shows, I have run across the same conspiracy type.
"While their is nothing written down or even said aloud, this is what the liberal plan is..."
One station was a religious station talking against Evolution. (aside on--since the arguments against evolution attack more than just evolutionary biology, but against geology, astro-physics, archeology, cosmology, and a large assortment of other areas, we need a new term.)
One station was hosting a NRA show, fighting against gun control.
The third was Rush Limbaugh.
In each case they created straw-men arguments based on some secret information that they have discovered, despite the fact that they admit such information is never written down or even spoken aloud.
I can understand them saying, "Its obvious that what they really are after is xxx" even when its not obvious.
But they insist there is some grand plan that they know about--that they admit doesn't exist except in the minds of the liberals, and what I am guessing are Conservative Mind Readers who pull this information out of the minds of the liberals, then are immediately killed since they have these witchy powers and we shall not suffer a witch to live.
