I loved the images of all the previous Doctors. And the point where he asked him if he had anything to live for was so poignant and sad... That thing with Donna really wrecked him.

David Morrissey was the only good thing about it. (Well, except for Ten.) Of course, Morrissey was brilliant, so he saved the show. The rest of it was incomprehensible. Although I will say I liked the iron-age gears and steam-engine look of the huge robot.
Oh yes, Lisa: "They go away because they should ... or they find someone else ... or they forget me."

5th Doctor (Davison) did some compassionate stuff (like actually hanging around to attend someone's funeral). But Ten's gotten to do the most...

Does anyone know when it's going to air in the US? I'm thinking of bringing my father a copy if it's going to be a while. I was so psyched to find out that he watches Doctor Who and Torchwood. I shouldn't have been surprised, but for some reason, I kind of was.

No news yet. They generally show the Christmas special at the beginning of the next season on Sci Fi network. Last year that was in March or April. But this year, since there's no season - there's been no word when they're going to show the specials.
