Oh wow! I must've read that 20 years ago and I knew within seconds which story it was. That's all kinds of awesome.

Oh, I had totally forgotten about that story, and it is an amazing one. Looks like the movie will be pretty loyal to it too, which is neat. I want to see it.

I remember reading it... it made me terribly depressed, honestly.

It's an amazing short story, and I liked the trailer. I'm fairly concerned about them stretching a story that short to anything approaching feature film length, though.

I haven't watched the trailer, but I have a guess as to which story it is. If I'm right, I've always loved that story.

It also says $100,000 budget. With known actors! Huh. You can't even buy a house for that kind of money.

I thought there was a movie based on it already, thanks Lisa for the link. This is a must read story.

But an hour really would be too long. It would involve far too much stretching and filling in for my taste.

Since it's only a short film, how are we going to see it?

Elsewhere on the site one can request email updates on screenings in one's own area. (Luckily there -is- an "Art House" theater near me, so a local screening isn't out of the question.)

Hmm. You're in the L.A. area, right? Maybe the local clump could have an outing . . .
