The hamster did crack me up. However, I couldn't help but think, "Man, I'll bet Lasseter and his crew are mad enough to hire a hitman or something."
Looks pretty good, and the hamster had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to choke to death.
I have a relatively low threshold for funny.
Edit to add: Oh, and from the looks of it, if "Bolt" was an actual tv show with a dog that actually had those abilities...I'd probably watch it.

I'd say it's more similar to "Homeward Bound". Besides, the whole Buzz Lightyear thing was more of a side plot, not a whole movie.

my mind is blown by the pastiche of references.
Inspector Gadget (penny and a super-dog companion helping out her father/uncle fight nefarious evil-doers, this is actually more blatent than the Lion King borrowing from Kimba the white Lion)
Animaniacs - GoodPigeons! Rita cat!
Incredible Journey/Homeward Bound - find the 'lost' human that 'abandoned' you.
and of course Toy Story with the Buzz Lightyear effect.
the hamster cracked me up. "I have a ball!"

Sheesh you hacks! It's Goodfeathers, not Goodpigeons!
Lyrhawn, it's not just that he's deluded. It's that he's deluded in thinking he's a world-saving superhero with super-powers.

For some reason I didn't find the hamster to be that funny... maybe my humor bone is just turned off today.
