to give a talk to a meeting in Italy. (I was told about this yesterday. Somebody left me off a cc list for the agenda last week, or I would have objected.) In fact I was up at 0500, since my talk was at 0600. I am a grad student and not a creature of the early morning. Urgh.

It's like slice of life James Bond. Between the beautiful women and the car chases, there's probably a lot of waking up early and waiting for stuff to happen.

Those are all silly ideas. A much more practical idea is to get your hands on a Transmogrifier gun, and then just transmogrify into a "creature of the mornning," whatever that may be.

You could use a Time-Turner and go back to 6:00, but with that you have to live two days in one. I would think you would be twice as tired at the end of the day.
