So this past week I've begun my campaign to make exercising a part of my life, and by that I mean I have been running, biking or both daily for the past week. I'm a big fan of feeling like I'm doing something healthy, and just yeah. It's a great feeling getting done with a run and things, and I'm thinking of doing a sprint triathlon at a YMCA I've been to at the end of this summer. The Shermanator
So does anybody here have their own resolutions/exercise plans, or have any races, competitions etc. planned?

Well, I am planning to run on the treadmill for 30 minutes a day.Only that's just an idea I'm kicking around. Posts: 87 | Registered: Dec 2007

I work out 3 or 4 times a week, on average. During the winter, that usually consists of lifting weights and doing small amounts of cardio - jump roping or running short distances when the weather is particularly nice.
Now that spring is fast approaching, I'm going to be running more. I usually run in a few 5K or 2 mile races over the course of the summer.

My boyfriend, our mutual friend, and myself have been keeping each other energized and going to the gym for the past few weeks. It feels good. I'm glad the three of us have each other, because I have a distinct lack of motivation when it's just me!

I try to go to the gym at least four times a week. I went this morning and rode the stationary bike for twenty minutes and then lifted weights for 40 minutes. I'm hoping to be sore.

I'm drumming in Rock Band for anywhere from half an hour to six hours daily, probably averaging about an hour daily. When I first started about a month ago I couldn't even get through the Outlaws' ten-minute opus Green Grass and High Tides on medium difficulty, my stamina would run out and I'd be unable to keep the beat. Now I can drum for hours on end on hard/expert difficulty and only start to run out of steam when I add really hard songs to the mix.

I am a big fan of kettlebells. They give you a great strength, core, cardio, full ROM workout and travel well.
