With only 2 days left before we take our son on an night of mandatory performances of Tricks for Treats, the question is, whats a good kids joke this year? I'm tired of "What's a ghost's favorite food? Booberry muffins" And if you know anything construction related, Sasha is going as a Construction Worker, with his own tools and such. More like--"Who owns the car in your tool box? The Screw-Driver of course."

What did one ghost say to another ghost? Do you believe in people? Courtesy of my 11 year old brother.

Why was one construction worker staring at the other? Because he found him riveting. Okay, that's not that great, but at least it's original (or at least, I've never heard it before).

Why did the steam shovel operator like her job so much? Because she really dug holes. Hm...steam shovel is such an antiquated term, but I'm drawing a blank on what the modern equivalent would be.

Excavator. edit: I called them steam shovels for ages. And it's actually easier to say than excavator...fewer syllables.

Oh I call them backhoes. I know that the backhoe has a shovel on one end and a bulldozer thingy on the other but you never see them with just a shovel anymore, at least I don't. You probably shouldn't call her a backhoer, though.

So many comments to make about "Backhoe", so many ways to get banned from this family forum.

I'm confused. Backhoe is a perfectly legitimate tool that farmers use.

I read the post, then thought, before seeing the poster's name "that's got to be from Porter." I was correct!

This isn't a joke, per se, but I saw it on a t-shirt the other day. I want to get one. 5 out of 4 people have trouble with fractions.
