So how is this playing out? It has been a year, I originally saw it on CNN.com on the day of the coup, but didn't see much stir.

Better than might have been expected, actually. In August voters approved a new constitution (drafted by the military), and in December they're going to be holding an election.

Oh, and Sonthi Boonyaratglin just stepped down as head of the Council for National Security, apparently to be deputy prime minister.

I don't really know a whole lot about the new constitution, unfortunately. I'm curious to see what the results of the election are.
