What did you do while the hatrack forums were down?
As for myself, I watched much more television as I was not glued to my computer, which may or may not be a good thing. Went on one or two dates with my wife I otherwise might not have as the increased television watching started to annoy me.
So no hatrack--->more time watching TV---->more dates with wife.
no hatrack = happier spouse
If you did not do anything markedly different while the forums were down, did you feel withdrawal without the forums around? I confess I checked hatrack at least once sometimes twice a day.

I lurked on Galactic Cactus, joined Not Nauvoo (Nauvoo is still down, those of us missing it are still hanging out on Not Nauvoo), and spent more time at my normal "other" forums.

(I also taught my Saturday preschool art class, threw a birthday party for my girls, did some cleaning, and made a bunch of money on eBay. )

(Oh, and I forgot to mention I went to the doctor and got some stuff you don't want to hear about taken care of, and also played a heck of a lot of games on king.com.)

I used the same forums I always use except this one, and studied for finals more than I might have otherwise. But really, while i noticed, i didn't do the shaking thing at all this time.

I also went on alternative forums. (Well, actually, Hatrack sort of is my alternative forum as I first found this place when my main forum was slow.)
And I wrote a play.
And I called my Mum.
And I earned some money and spend it and earned some more money and spent that too and now I am broke again.
Stupid money. It should learn how to stick to my fingers.

Besides getting my work done for a change, I watched Gone with the Wind in the restored version.

I hung out on the bloggernacle (Times and Seasons, By Common Consent, Mormon Stories, Feminist Mormon Housewives, etc.) and I watched two of Richard Dutcher's movies "States of Grace" and "God's Army". I thought they were wonderful movies! I'm going to see if we have old threads about them to post on.

Lurked at sake. Kinda thought about joining, but didn't want to have to choose an avatar.
Read. A lot. I'm halfway through A Song of Ice and Fire now.
I certainly didn't get any additional work done. I have a big test coming up on the 19th which I haven't even started studying for. *shrugs*

I know some of this is answered here, but where do Hatracker's (don't know how to spell the J name) go for BBs when Hatrack is down?

I spent a bit of time on Sake, and an even smaller bit on GC, but mostly I spent all my time writing, since my cable and internet has been intermittant for the past few days anyway (it's working for the moment, and I'll enjoy it while it lasts).
I haven't written more than a page or two in the last couple months, but I got almost 10 pages done over last weekend. I loves my Hatrack, but the absence of same seems to do wonders for my productivity.

I studied for finals. My last two are tomorrow.
So that says something, that I checked to see if Hatrack was back even though I should still be studying.

After my clicky finger went numb from refreshing "Today's Active Topics", I desultorily lurked at sakeriver and Galactic Cactus. I did a woefully incomplete spring cleaning. And stressed out about various topics, with nowhere to vent!
edit: Oh, and I thought about emailing various jatraquero friends, but didn't have the energy. Sorry.

I got a cold and sprained my ankle. And I don't know how I did the last. Seriously, I got out of bed and my ankle was in extreme pain. It makes no sense.
And I blame Hatrack.
Other than that, however, I got some work done, spent some time outside, studied for my exam, and was writing my paper. That's not going to happen now though. Oh no. Hatrack is back.

I almost hate to admit it, but the past week has been one of the most productive and intellectually creative periods of my life. But still, it is nice to get the security blanket back...

Is it just me or do we all sound like post-addiction support group members suffering from a mass relapse?

I visited sakeriver, galacticcactus, watched Veronica Mars on cwtv.com, and spent a LOT of time at some shallow, fluffy sites. I might have dropped a few IQ points, but I know to stay far, far away from high-waisted pants.
