First off, the official thing is simply a joke. I'm just playing off the 'what's with the official thing'that was going on a little while ago.
And here we go. It's pretty jumbled up with just some random stuff I noticed.
First off, Harry and Voldemort appear to be in some sort of colosseum, suggesting that Voldemort wants their final confrontation to be something of a spectacle. This colosseum is out in the open, and there are quite a few people watching. They don't appear to be death eaters, they actually appear to be regulars. This could mean that the final confrontation between HP and Voldemort takes place somewhere public. Implication? They're wizards, they'll help Harry. On the contrary however, they could be death eaters, in which case, it'll be just like GOF.
Second. Neither of them have wands, and they look to be reaching for something. The foreground shows that something wooden and concrete was destroyed, which couldpossibly lead to why they're looking into the air. Harry is either leaning on or pushing off something.
The curtains... are curtains. I have no idea what they're for, but they lead to voldemort. If you look at the bottom left of the corner and trace them up, you can see that they lead to Voldemort.
And while both Harry and voldemort appear to be reaching for something, neither of them are going for it in the same direction. Harry looks as if he knows what he's going for, whereas Voldemort's hands look more flung, and his eyes are caught on Harry. Perhaps he's been pushed back (which would go in line with the curtains), or maybe he's just destracted (referring to his eyes).
Finally, if you look around Harry's neck, there is either a little bag, or some sort of locket. It's probably significant in some way, but I don't know.

Curtains? Like in the Ministry of Magic where Sirius died, perhaps?
The locket is probably the Slytherin medallion that shows up on the cover of the Bloomsbury adult edition.

Yes...I've heard today's speculators speculate that the 'Deathly Hallows' would be that spooky beyond the veil place that Sirius fell into. Looks like Harry and Voldemort meet there for lunch...or something. Posts: 6415 | Registered: Jul 2000

There are 3 versions at Mugglenet. The UK version looks, um different. Not sure what the treasure is about. It could be in the ministry of magic? Or some place the horcruxes are kept. Link

The UK Children's version is a crime against humanity. It's the worst sort of fantasy artwork plaguing one of my favourite book series. I can see why there's an "Adult" version.

I actually don't want Sirius to come back. I'm not really sure why I'm looking forward to reading this book, besides for the sound and the fury of Harry Potter.

Could be that a Horcrux is something treasury hidden in a pile of treasure. And the treasure starts attacking if you try to destroy the horcrux. That would be frustrating.

The artwork on Sorcerer's Stone was framed with curtains, pristine and neatly tied back. Like the opening of a play.
These curtains are worn and tattered. Signaling that that the curtains are about to close on the story. This is the final act, the moment all seven volumes have been leading up to and that at the conclusion the curtains will be closed and the story complete.
