so we got a new vid card for nathan's computer (as well as some more RAM). right now, the RAM is perfectly fine, but the video card, after working fine, isn't working fine. I can't figure out exactly what's going on, but it seems to be something to do with the 3D rendering (sliding down the hardware acceleration a notch clears up the problem).
When the acceleration isn't turned down, there's... greenish dashes across everything (horizontal lines of 'em).
This happened after Oblivion was left running for some-odd hours without being touched (someone forgot to quit before wandering off to watch a movie and then another).
Any idea what could be going on and how I can fix it?
The current setup is this:
six bay mid-tower case Intel (Augsburg) 915G Motherboard No CPU R0 Intel Pentium 4 530J Processor 1.5G DDR PC3200 350 watt power supply Western Digital 250-GB 7200-RPM 80GPP 7M SATA Hard Drive R0 nvidia geforce 7600 GT PCI express
I know the slot is PCI-E and is x16.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have updated drivers installed? If a driver disk came with the card, it might not have the most up to date drivers. I usually go to the manufacturer's site to check on that.
Have you rebooted since this happened? At least once, but preferably a couple of times? Did you leave the computer shut off for at least 30 seconds between times at least once? If not, do that, too, and let us know if anything changes.
