Okay Anyone have Civ4 and Warlords? or just Civ4 and considering buy/downloading Warlords? (dont care whichever) okay go to civfanatics.com -> forums search for visa's mod.
Visa's mod adds units, civilizations (like Canada and Isael, fear my Royal Canadian Mounted Police Huzzah!) completely redoes the techtree and adds all sorts of goodies.
So ya get it and we'll figure out a time and place to get a Hatrack game going, only Humans, FX Marathon speed, Gigantoid map, Terra. Play Long term. ya ya ya ya play!

Also, who the devil gave thee permission, young grasshopper, to address thy elders in such informal wise? Knowest thou not that 'you' is the courteous plural form, while 'thou' is only to be used between intimates, or to those younger than, or otherwise inferior to, oneself?

Blayne, would you like me to help you set up a blog? It's really not difficult at all. That way you can stop blogging here and use these forums as... oh, I don't know... forums.

Would I have been clearer if I had said "No and no"? I know you think your misspellings are cute or something, but they're really not. You have been advised to use a spell-check before; you ignore that suggestion. But you're not even bothering to edit a thread title because you think it is "endearing"?

Blayne, your misspellings aren't cute. They make attempts at parsing meaning in your jumble of letters difficult if not impossible. Add to that your incoherent sentence structure, and no, this is not communication. Please, do us all a favor, including yourself, by spending more time in typing up your thoughts.
If you do, I'm willing to bet you'll get more favorable and relevant responses to your posts.
As it is, personally, I tend to ignore any threads you start and most of your other posts. They're not worth my time - or the resulting headache - trying to figure anything out.
I know this has been said to you before. I really hope it'll stick.

ouch!
Blayne I played Civ 4 a bunch about a year ago, and I've long since uninstalled (I downloaded it) I love games of the genre but I was more interested in trying Medieval Total War 2 then Civ 4 or Warlords again.

To each his own. Blayne is a young innocent, and his style reflects that. I find it refreshing, in small doses. A whole forum of Blaynes? Not for me. But he does add flavor to the mix.
Blayne is the anti-Pelegius. The yin to his yang. It balances things for me.

But hang on, now Pel has quit, things are out of balance again! What are you going to do about that?
BlackBlade, why are you messing about with inferior games like that, instead of playing the True Games made by Paradox? Get thee to their website and buy Hearts of Iron : Doomsday. Then you could join me and Blayne for the final chapter of our millennium-long game!

KOM: Alas, between the Nitendo Wii and World of Warcraft, and the severely impeding factor of marriage my gaming time can't sustain another addicting game.

Looking at it, I can't tell whether the Mac version supports cross-platform multiplayer. I'll do some more research.

Well, KoM we are garanteed probly up to 3 new layers (Dano, Radek, and Bloodstike) once DD comes along, how many nations need guidance for a full game?

Well, there are eight that might reasonably be called Great Powers, namely Norway, China, England, Belgium, Spain, Persia, Italy and Greece; the last two are a bit borderline. There's also the Tributary Republic of Poland, Norway's vassal but still a large and powerful state in its own right. Six of those, I think, makes for a pretty good game - counting Norway and Poland as one (and I'll be having the mil control, thanks) we can get all the really strong Great Powers. Greece and Italy are small enough that it won't really matter if they are AI.
By the way, perhaps we could move the time up an hour or so so that Dano will be able to get out of bed for a change. Would help me too, come to that. Oh, and I can't play on the 5th.

We don't need a forum full of Blaynes, the kid's an overachiever and does the annoying work of several Blaynes by himself. I too felt he was like the antithesis of Pel, in writing style anyway. Immature versus stuffy ancient history professor wannabe. Those were the days.
And Tante, I'm seriously wondering what in the name of all that is holy your definition of "small doses" is.

I second that. On any one day Blayne has anywhere from three to six threads on the front page! The vast majority with horribly misspelled titles. So unless you're just reading the titles of these threads and calling that your 'dose'...
Blayne, I've got nothing against you, hell I used to practically be you. So kindly don't take it personally when I say:
