This happened at the Club River Run where we both lived! It turns out it wasn't any of the students in our school, but it's still scary! I saw this on the news and was worried sick because I feared for my Ninja Turtles who still live in 345. *shudder*
I couldn't believe it when I saw the complex on T.V. They even interviewed some of the people who live there and I knew one of them because he's a student at Ai.

Really? I thought it was the new word for rape. Whatever he did, it would still be scary.
(Alt) I hope your friends travel in groups for a few days. No sense taking chances with the guy still out there.

Yeah, the people who work in student housing also sent out this bulletin in Facebook today:
This happened yesterday and last night but please stay aware and if you see this man or he comes to your door please call the police immediately and then call the RLC emergency line at 619-804-6048!!
There is a man walking around knocking on apartment doors claiming to be either working on public speaking and/or selling magazines. He attempted to enter a students apartment by requesting to use their kitchen counter to write something down; when they refused he argued and then ran away. He is described as 57, thin build, very blonde hair and eyebrows, and yesterday he was wearing a blue shirt, jeans and white/tan shoes.
He was escorted off the apartment complex yesterday but then was spotted a few hours later attempting to gain enterance to apartments once again. His target seems to be apartments with women in them, but has also been seen knocking on male apartments.
With the increasing numbers of crimes (muggings, vandalism and rape) happening this past month at our apartment complex, please be extra aware of who is around you and especially who you allow into your apartment.
Once again if you see this man please immediately call the police and then the RLC emergency line.

All I can think of right now are the number of people who knowcked on the door when we leved there selling magazines. I remember a few of them asked to come in to use the table to write things down too.
