No relation, although it looks like he's from Lancashire and that's where my family came from, so probably something distant.
I'm very impressed with the simplicity of the site. I'd add some more navigation elements on top, but in general I really like it. So many resume sites go overboard with the designing and make it hard to find information.
I love how in the accents section he lists counties in England.
