Name says it all. You give a snippet of a rock song and people try and guess the song its from and the band/individual who sings it. If no one gets it in the first 2 posts you post a hint. If no one for 5 after that you give it up. If you get it right you post the next song.
I'll go first- "I Know it's most unusual to come before you so. I found an ancient miracle I thought that you should know"
Not that hard, right?

Can we say that the person who answers correctly also posts the next snippet, thus giving the game some momentum?

"I want to write the perfect song, and play it just for you while you are tangled up in sleep. I need you more than I'll ever know. Until I stop breathing, my lungs will take you for granted."

seeded... seedy... point of view really... it fits so well with the rest of the verses that its hard to tell the difference... you obviously know the song though KarlEd, I think we have similar tastes in music.

It's "Running Blind" by Godsmack.
Can you guess who and what this is?
"Mayday every day, in my heart. Could've had a heart attack, in my heart. We don't know anything, in my heart. We all want something fair, in my heart."

By the way, I believe the actual lyric is "you can test it but it will not foam". 'taste it but it will not form' makes no sense.

I may know the answer, but I'd rather give someone else the chance since I just posted a song lyric.

Yeah, I'll give it to you SteveRogers, the song is actually called The Lightning Strike, but it's a 3-part song and those lines are from the third part, called Daybreak.

Ah, blast. My girlfriend listens to them sometimes, so that's the only reason I knew it. But I clearly am not personally familiar enough with it know the difference.
