Snow/sleet mix in downtown Buffalo. The temperature has dropped 12 degrees from when I got here at 7:30 am. I wore a short sleeve shirt and at the last second picked up my windbreaker. Supposed to be 1-3 inches by the morning tomorrow. Posts: 5422 | Registered: Dec 2001

It's unseasonably warm and humid here... we've had Kona winds blowing (from the south, instead of our usual tradewinds), bring vog from the volcanic emissions on the Big Island. It's been downright nasty here for the last few days, and the forecast is that it will be like this into next week.
But I have night-blooming jasmine in my yard, so my house smells heavenly.

It's freeeeeezing here in Columbus, Ohio, but no snow. Unfortunately. I don't like it when it's cold but not snowing.

It was supposed to snow here (Ithaca) this weekend, but now they've changed the forecast to rain and 50 degree weather.

Send a few drafts of that stuff toward Kansas, when you get a chance. Not that we're truly cold here, but I like warmer weather than October usually grants me.

It has been cold all day. Earlier this morning/noonish it was snowing like crazy, but it was that nice non-sticky snow, so it's all gone now. All my begonias looked kinda pretty all snow covered for an hour.
I always forget how bad the wind is in downtown Chicago. Every year I forget it, and I've lived here my whole life.
