... would have made a okay waiter. But you know who really would have been good? That kid who saw dead people.

Do we know he didn't go "poof" like Kenobi? I mean, he is also a force ghost.. in which case only his clothes were burned

I saw "Secondhand Lions" for the first time a few weeks ago and thought it was pretty good. I remember thinking that HJO had escaped the "child actor" curse that some are afflicted with - like Macauley Culkin. Sorry that I was wrong.

I dunno, I don't think he's going to relapse into Child Star drugdom. I have faith in him! I think he's got it in him to be a *great* actor and sometimes its very apparent. I hope he keeps doing movies... I'm sure he will.

More like, signs he's growing up
More important, I think, is the fact that he was drunk and in possession, while driving. Talk about instantly losing respect for someone.

Er, um, I'm totally not into him drunk driving and smoking pot and stuff. Just wanted to say that I don't think this is anything near on par with what has happened to other child actors. From him it seems more like an experimental stage than a sign that he's descending into that horrid world of ... well, whatever makes people really addicted to hard drugs and party all the time and drop off the face of the planet.
