Three years ago last night, I was staying up putting the last touches on my wedding dress.
Three years ago at this time, I was getting dressed with the help of the Temple matron and my future mother-in-law.
Three years ago in about an hour and a quarter, I was grinning my head off as I saw you smiling through your tears as we each said, "Yes" when asked if we wanted to be together forever.
Three years ago this afternoon, I was too happy to be married to you to care that our reception got rained out.
Three years ago tonight... Well, I don't think I need to remind you, or tell anyone, what went on three years ago tonight.
In those three years, I've gotten to watch you grow from just the man that I loved into a wonderful husband and father. I've seen how hard you are willing to work to take care of us, how you play with your daughters, how you let the best parts of being a little boy remain to entertain us while you take on the work and responsibilities of being a man-- or two men, sometimes! Thank you for these three years. They make me sure I'll never regret that "Yes" three years ago. I love you, sweetheart!
*I swear I thought of that title two days ago, it's not my fault my anniversary is the same day as Karl's!

Congratulations kq. My 3rd year wedding anniversary is this Saturday. Other than that my experience sounds remarkably similar to yours. However, the light rain wasn't too big of a deal because we had the reception indoors. It's so great being with the one you love isn't it!

And so it begins . . . I'm 44 years old and still blamed by my mother for missing items whenever I'm in her home! (Of course I am never responsible for the pen she can't find--no, not me.)

No, same temple would have been too weird. Besides, you wouldn't have failed to recognize the groom's father

You Ketchup people are too sweet. Well, not that sweet or you wouldn't be ketchup people. Congrats on three years together and the two wonderful little people that were added during those years. Here's to many more years together. I am not sure how many more little people you want, though. How about I wish you as many as you can handle. Too much? Too few? Just right? (The Goldilock's Factor is alive and well.)

I think we want several more, but not too many and hopefully not too soon.
