On Friday, I took a rather short shower (by my standards) and left, dried off. Only to soon discover a sharp pang in my right eye. I naturally assumed that an eyelash had fallen in, and checked for it.
I couldn't find any.
Now, a day later, it doesn't hurt that badly, but there is still a continous, mild ache/pain. There is no swelling/redness, at least none that is noticable. Any advice?

I do, but haven't done so for the last two weeks. I 'll see the doctor on Monday, then. Thanks .

Sometimes you can hurt your eye, and it won't get red. Or you can have an allergic reaction. That happens to me sometimes, but I think then when I look at the part of my eye that's bothering me, it looks kind of rough, if that makes any sense.

Try flushing the eye with eye drops. There might be some foreign body that is difficult to discern and the flushing may remove it.

When I had viral conjunctivitis once, it felt exactly like I got something in my eye that I couldn't see nor get out. There's no treatment for it except to ease the discomfort with drops and wait for it to go away. And there's no way to tell viral from allergic conjuntivitis. Fortunately, you treat them both the same so it doesn't matter.
