In a sad blow to teddy bear exchangers around the world, The Teddy Bear Exchange was forced to close up shop.
Citing "a lack of time and energy", founder Muriel Wells avoided commenting on the governments continued assertions that her bears were being used to send secret messages to terrorist sleeper cells.

Greatest. Dobie. Ever.

Also, that's really sad. I remember doing this a long, long time ago and being really excited about the idea.

I never did the bear exchange, I just misread the initial post and was very confused when I found out it had nothing to do with bears...

What's really sad is that until my second read-thru, I found your addition to the story believable: that the US TeddyBearExchange could be shutting down because harassment by HomelandSecurity made its legal defense fees too high to continue.
