My mom used to drive this poor girl's school bus. She says the girl's father was always there to meet the bus, to the point where she thought he was being too protective.
Last year I graduated from the school she recently transferred out of (I think it was her first year at her Purcell school), and now I work as a substitute there. I almost knew this girl.
And to think I want to be a teacher and a parent. I hate to think I'll just be terrified for my kids/students all the time.
Normally I hate reading this kind of thing on Hatrack. I guess I'm hoping those of you who pray will pray for Jamie's family tonight (and those who just think, send good thoughts). I don't know what else to say.

The story I read this morning was more disturbing. I feel so bad for the family, what a horrible thing for that girl to go through, and for them to know she went through.

In light of it all, this is a very petty comment, but I wonder why they bothered to include the fact that he played Kingdom of Loathing. Is it something they associated with deviant behavior? Did they think it indicative of his mental state?
I know many people who play, and it struck me as a random thing to insert in the article.
