Warning: Article contains some mild language (acceptable on network TV, but you wouldn't want your seven year old reading it), and references to mature subjects (again, acceptable on network TV, but you hope your seven year old has no idea what is going on):
quote:Filmed at a barracks in Devon, the video is perverse in that special way that only straight men can be perverse when they don't know they're being ridiculous. It reportedly shows two marines encircled by a group of men, all of whom are naked -- except, of course, for the guy in surgeon's scrubs. And, um, some other guy wearing a schoolgirl uniform. The two marines fight -- nekkid! -- until one of them sasses the guy in the surgeon's outfit and is kicked in the face for his trouble. Lights out.
"Why are they naked, for goodness' sake?" wept Col. Bob Stewart, who commanded British forces in Bosnia, before declaring himself "horrified" by the video. It made those Serbian rape camps look like a picnic, man, a picnic.

That is a bizarre account, yet, I have not trouble believing it. It seems that the (very, very slanted) article gets it spot on -- left to their own devices, young men have a tendency to get really weird. In the same weird kinds of ways, wherever they are.

I saw another article on this, that was much more fact and much less opinion, and included some pictures from the video. And at least part of the video, which I did not care to watch. Anyway, it's really weird.
