When people get very close to their landmark post count but aren't yet ready to write a landmark they'll create an alt and post under that name until something landmark worthy happens.
Sister Annie is the most recent one that springs to mind, which was an alt for Annie (obviously).

I don't dilute my post count with multiple screen names. I'm 100% pure Tante Shvester. (or something)

I've had an Indian curry name once, for a joke. Apart from that I'm 100% Anna too (anyway I'm so sure I would betray myself with English mistakes it wouldn't be fun!)

I've got quite a number of throw away one liner type names, and I've registered every creative misspelling of my username that I've seen, but the only other username I use for serious posts is Jake. That's a pretty rare occurance though.

I have a 'Teshi.' (an attempt at a clone) but it wasn't registered by me and I've forgotten the password. I've never used it. I don't even remember who registered it.

There is an EIJay out there, with a capital i instead of a small l. But I know who owns it, and trust her to only use it if it would be funny, so I don't care. Posts: 7954 | Registered: Mar 2004

I have three other usernames, one I'm pretty sure most people figured out, and one that only a person or two would know, but it's only posted once or twice.
Doesn't kat also have Javert Hugo, but not Javert?

I'm 100% pure, well, at least as far as user names go.
But with all of the people with multiple users it must be hard to get an accurate count of how many "real" users there are on hatrack.

The number of real users is fairly easy to keep track of, but the number of different people who have posted or registered is harder obviously, though I'm not sure it's important. Knowing who's real is of course. There's always the fear we might have someone like K.A.M.A.

I went searching and can't find the thread, real meaning a jatracquero(a) who has met at least two other real jatraquero(a)'s that all trace back to one writng clinic I think. K.A.M.A. is the idea that Kama may have been a computer program instead of a twenty something in Poland, this theory is less popular now that she has met nearly 100 jatraquro's during her tour of America the summer of 04, including stops in Chicago and the east coast, and almost marrying Frisco.

I even tried googling the thread name, and it was found but it was pre forum switch this spring, so it didn't work.

we've played this game before, it doesn't need to happen again, unless one of your alias's is Rhaegar the fool, then I'm so going to get you.

I have a couple of others. The one that most people know are Anti-Chris. The others I just use for whatever other purposes. I think I actually have like 14 registered user names that are just sitting around.

It's possible that you might not take pride in the fact that it's so easy to see that you've averaged more than 25 posts per day since the day you registered.

Well...there were lots of holidays in October. It really cut into my Hatrack time.
