Anyone else watch this tonight? I find that I'm hooked immediately. I really liked the gritty style, the story line has me completely wrapped up and the actors are all doing an amazing job. I know that's a pretty skimpy review but it's the best I've got. I'm tired. If you haven't watched it, it's on mondays at 9:00 on Fox. Check it out.

Oh shoot I missed it. I wanted to watch because it's filmed at Joliet State Pen... Fox's local studios are in my office complex and they had people dressed up in orange prison jumpsuits or guard's uniforms handing out nail files promoting the show on Friday.

I had been planning on watching all week and forgot all about it. I just happened to be flipping through the channels as it started tonight. Maybe my subconcious self was looking out for my less than perfect memory.

I heard (on the radio this morning) some prisons have that show on "blackout" meaning it cannot be shown there. This isn't the only restriction. Alcatraz is another.

They showed two episodes tonight and so far there has been no prison break. But I think it will come fairly early in the series. It feels like a lot of the show will be dedicated to the back story of how the brother got into prison in the first place and the conspiricy behind it.

I'd say November sweeps is when the break happens. He has too much to set up before they can get out, and has too many pieces to put in place, friends to make, etc.
They have to establish the characters that are going to be breaking out before they make the actual break.

I was following the conspiracy plotline a little bit at first, but it got away from my pretty fast.
I thought to begin with they were just making sure that there was a fall guy for who killed the VP's brother, but now it's some big thing involving the government.
If I had to guess, I'd say it's how they plan to keep the show functioning after the actual prison break happens.

Saw it. Loved it. The tension was really building up in that last half hour of the second episode. The escape itself should be wonderful to watch.
Oh, and to those who missed it, FOX will be showing it again Thursday night.

Goody, is Scrivener your last name? Because the Ag teacher at my High School's last name is Scrivener.

Steve, no, I'm (sort of) a scrivener by trade - to be precise, a legal secretary. I joined Hatrack just after reading the Alvin Maker series and decided that I was more suited to a Hatrack River type name than a Battle School character.
