According to the normally reliable fan-site Kong is King, the first trailer for Peter Jackson's remake of the 1933 monster movie will come out on June 29th, attached to "War of the Worlds".

The "Peter Jackson Production Diaries" on the 'Kong Is King' site are really cool. Andy Serkis is a scream, and who'd have thought that Jack Black would fit a 1930s period adventure like a glove?
And oh...Naomi Watts in her little Fay Wray-esque hat. She's so cute.

I remain skeptical about the movie, but the video diaries are pretty cool. I just don't know if I can get swept away into believing there is a 60ft gorilla running around somewhere. Of course, Jackson has earned the right to do anything he wants and by leaving it set in the 30's he doesn't have to try to come up with some BS modern reason for why King Kong exist. They can just say they found him in the jungle.
Bryan Singer is doing a video journal for the new Superman movie.
