I have to say, though, I walked a mile or more on a regular basis when I was 2 and 3-- always while holding a parent's or sister's hand, though. But why, why, why do you not watch your children so they can't go out the door? Posts: 21182 | Registered: Sep 2004

Trevor, if I had a two and three year old, I would not let them out of my sight if I thought they were the adventerous type. Ever. For a minute. And if they weren't the adventerous type, I'd still have three deadbolts on the door, too high for them to reach without assistance, and furniture too heavy for them to move, and check on them every three to five minutes.
