*sigh* WenchCon, no. Bob and Dana's wedding, no. DallasCon, no. DC Con, no.
The thought of not getting to see all of you wonderful people makes me sad. With our big Disney World vacation planned and the baby on the way (which requires a new bedroom being built) there's no way I can attend anything. If there wasn't so much other stuff already planned, I'd have a mind to plan a Space Opera Con just to stop missing out.

Southern indiana here too, Space Opera, there really are a bunch of us (and not just teenagers, basically between 18 and 25) in bloomington, so if you ever come up this way, let us all know.

There are two signs in that part of the state, the other one is near Fairmount, it's the only sign in that town that doesn't read "James dean was born here, so was cool"

Even if there's a Pacific Northwest clump--I can't remember if there is--and they were having a con, I still couldn't go. I can't afford the investment in time or money to go anywhere. I can't have my own con because no one would come this far. So yeah, I'm missing all the cons too. Thanks.

Yeah, I won't be here. Dante might be moving here, too, sounds like. Before I moved here Doug J from South Bend used to post on Hatrack but he disappeared. And now that I'm leaving, Hatrackers come again. O_o

I've thought about having a Noemonicon, but I have to admit that it's mostly because I like the sound of the name.

Yeah. We really like each other, for the most part, and a number of real world friendships and relationships have come of it. This BobnDanaCon that people are talking about is the wedding of (not surprisingly) Bob and Dana, two well loved members of the forum who got to know each other here before meeting in real life.

Hmmm, looks as if I'll have to keep my eyes open for something in my area of the country, since it's difficult (at best) to travel at the moment.

Well, I am going to Ithacon next week, and will hopefull meet Zeugma. Noemon, you definitely have to have Noemonicon. It is sort of like Bill Clinton's battle cry. (sorry)

BookWyrm, me and Valentine014 are going to some convention in Kansas City in May, where GRRM will be the "ToastMaster". We might be able to get him to sign a book for ya if you send it. At least I hope he is signing books and stuff. It looks like he'll be there all weekend.

She wishs Raia. The only reason I am here sometimes now is cause I have internet at work. She has no such luck. I'll tell her you said so, but until we get internet at home (in 2-3 weeks I would guess), she can only check hatrack once a month or so.
