AWESOME. I love Red Dwarf. Maybe I could get it on DVD from the library or on Netflix because I miss that show.

Wow. I was just watching my Red Dwarf DVDs as I read this. I'm trying to get ready for season 5 and 6 to come out in 11 days. I love Red Dwarf. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that I'm the biggest fan of the show on this forum. And if you want to disagree with me, you'll have to deal with this.

I'm a HUGE fan of the show. Pity the show ended so abruptly, IMHO the later seasons were some of the best stuff. Ace Rimmer and Kryton TV are my favorite episodes. Now I have to watch the show noe. T

Technically the show hasn't ended. The producers are just working full time on the futile task of trying to make a movie. The script is written but they want it made in a certain way and they are having a really hard time finding a backer. It's kind of like Ender's Game syndrome... the eternally elusive dream. They're not seeming to make a lot of progress, but they won't give up and go back to the TV series. Yeah, kind of sad. Season 8 was great, and I'd like to see the cliffhanger resolved before the cast starts to die off.

There's some hope. I pretty gave up on ever seeing a H2G2 movie. I didn't even know the movie was even being made til I saw the trailer.

YAY! My public broadacting station will start airing Red Dwarf today. From the beginning. Anyone who lives around Philadelphia can catch it on channel 35 WYBE.

I remember watching it every saturday night, but I haven't seen it forever. But at least Red Green is still going... I think. I haven't seen that for a long time, too.

I picked this up from Netflix and watched the first two episodes with the hubby. He hated it. Fell asleep. *sigh* He also dropped Sports Night after two episodes. (One night we had a bit of time to wind down after the kids were in bed and he was looking for something to watch on the dvd shelf. He picked Dune. *sigh* I said "That's so long... we could watch an episode of Sports Night." He replied that he could also poke at his eyes with sharp sticks for half an hour. )
But I showed my kids some Red Dwarf last night, and they LOVED it. It made me happy. They even had me play parts of it over and over.
That made me happy.
