Are you supposed to get your boyfriend something for valentine's day or is it more of a holiday for the guy to get the girl stuff?

it won't let me send an email-- sooo basically, I think it should be mutual- both sides give- unless of course he insists that you don't-- though you still might want to no matter what he says..

Well the typical V-Day (I like to think of it as victory day ) idea is that the guy courts the girl, and thus he's the won wooing and she's the woo-er so to speak. I think most guys would appreciate something back so they don't feel one sided, or that they're purchasing the relationship (but that's a whole other rant I wont go into now). This doesn't have to bee a material gift or a Hallmark card, just something that shows them you're willing to think about them and consider what they want.
