My costume consists of this:

1 Kilt
1 tub of blue acrylic body paint
1 week's worth of not shaving
some dirt
1 bottle of hair gel
1 belt
1 scabbard
1 actual sword

Underwear is optional. I'm trying to be legit here.

The troubling thing is that for Liberal Arts Council we have to escort some kiddos around for trick or treating. In costume.

Should be interesting.

You'd better wear underwear. Especially if the kids are short.

Black shirt, black pants, black hat with a gaudy feather, geeky black square toed shoes with metal tassels, brown wig with wild hair and a harmonica.

Wife: Peasant dress, long black wig and a guitar.

"Make Love Not War" buttons for both of us.

Anyone want to guess what couple we are going as?

Me: lemon yellow pants with high, elastic waist and narrow ankles; light pink button-up short-sleeved sweater; small neon-colored fanny pack; Keds; crimped side ponytail.

Jon Boy: Huge glasses; colorful baggy pants with elastic waist and side-of-thigh pockets full of tater tots; 'fro; cheesy t-shirt; moon boots.

I got this sweet $100 dollar Luke Skywalker light saber a month ago, so I will be a Jedi for Halloween, Alakadur: King of the Jedi.

I'm going to be a grouchy recluse who leaves his lights off and does something quiet so trick-or-treaters can't tell that he's home.

Careful, Thor.

I have one of those. If you hit anything with more than a tiny bit of force, it will break.

The children are trying to convince their father to dress up with them. Heather (the 11 year old) wants to run town with her friends and Missy wants her dad. If they succeed in convincing him to get a life, I think I'll stay home and hand out candy while doing some stitching. I'll wear all black clothes, get some black hairspray and face paint, and be a shadow. I even have a black panne velvet cape somewhere. And I have a crown for Chris so he can be a King to Missy's Princess. Of course, maybe then he'll need the cape.... LOL
