What's nice about this is that they are figuring out heat issues on the G5, which means, that we are getting closer to G5 powerbooks.. mmhmmm

Feh. I'm with Zevlag. Besides, it doesn't look nearly as good with a million peripherals scattered around it and cables going everywhere, but Bluetooth and Airport are BTO options, not standard. And, of course, the crippled FSB. A 1.6GHz G5 should have an 800MHz FSB.
Basically, it's overdue (thanks, IBM) and, as always, overpriced. Methinks I'll be sticking with my dual G5
G5 PowerBooks, OTOH, could be a big boost for Apple. I'm also somewhat curious to see if they'll redesign the PB case at all.

I like my iMac-that-looks-like-a-lamp. A lot. And I love the fact that if I'm reclining reading hatrack with my feet on my desk and the angle of the sun through the window starts to create a glare, I can push the edge of the screen with a toe and fix the problem without stirring any further. So there.

Actually, I think I prefer the lamp design to this one. But in any case my days of iMac-owning are behind me now.

It boggles my mind that they didn't build in the bluetooth module. This is a design that screams for wireless peripherals.
