Heh. You could congratulate her on putting up with me all this time.
Is it one of those e-saver type fares where you can only fly like, next week? Those suck. How many people get time off that quick? Not us average folks.

well you were saying you ought to see your family but you didn't want to spend a lot of time with them. This would be a perfect whirlwind trip, with the "well the flights were cheap" excuse, that uses small words that they understand.

I have to do that for my family soon. I hate flying (one reason I took the train to Kamacon) and to have to do it for just a weekend is tough for me. At least Thomas travels well...

It's for this weekend, and this weekend only. I could get the time off, but...I really couldn't go in September, so I'd have to hope the people I was visiting could get time off, or I may end up spending the weekend watching TV with grandpa. That would be fabulous, actually, but not if I have to give up a later trip for it.
Hey Tick, I saw the picture of your baby in the Old Navy outfit. He's adorable.

If your later trip was going to be longer, when folks would be more available, I'd have to say wait. The cheapskate in me covets the inexpensive airfare, but you may not end up seeing many folks.
I have to find my camera to take more Thomas pictures.

I'd post this on Galacticus. I think everybody in the Utah clump posts there, and there are quite a few in the Utah clump who don't post here. I'd like to meet you, but this weekend may not be the best time. Then again, it's not the worst either. . . .

I am biased. And I really want you to come. I have a LAN party all day Saturday, but I would happily miss it to come see Katie if she had a minute.
You asked me about this earlier, I didn't give you a response. Well, against what you are feeling, and totally unrelated as to why you would come. I think you should come.

Still not decided, because I didn't talk to the friends last night I wasn't sure would be around this weekend. I suspect I'm not dying to go, because the reason I didn't talk to them is because I didn't call them.
Brinestone, thank you. That's sweet - if I did come, I think I have Saturday open.

I moved up here 5 or 6 years ago. Originally from Virginia, where snow is an oddity, not a way of life.

I can flex whatever I've got going on to see you. Actually, I'm pretty sure I don't have anything going on.

Kat, that would be so cool if you came! I do realize that even if the plane ticket is cheap, it still costs money/time. I can understand if you choose not to come.

You can HAVE the snow, darlin'. It's nice for about a week. The problem with snow in Buffalo is often, once you have it, it NEVER GOES AWAY. Darn lakes.

I can't go. My cheap fare expired. Even then, I really couldn't. I have this dream of being beholden in no way no how to nobody by the middle of November. I want that more than I want this. I did want this.

Have I mentioned that Elizabeth is fabulous?
