I just thought I'd mention that the International Update in this week's edition of the Rhino Times on the internet is a bit screwed up. A little less than halfway down, it seems to have doubled itself. Below is what I get, anyway.
quote: Ideally, our politicians should actually have lived in the real world before serving as our government. They should have had to make a living and have some understanding of what it takes to build a career and accomplish something in life.
Extremism and Ben Stein; Trial Lawyers as Candidates
From there it repeats the whole column, though the second time, it does finish it. Just thought I'd mention it in a way that doesn't clog up your e-mail with the 1,000 person telling you this.

I have no idea. I know his wife keeps track of it, along with Kathryn H. Janitor. I hope one of them, or Geoff, might see this and mention it to him. However, back in the day, he used to occasionally post. I was around when you could still do a site search and find a post or two. And was even lucky enough to actually be here when he posted a couple of times one night. It was better than Christmas.
(Side note, when I spell checked this, because I'm a horrible speller, it told me that Kathryn was spelled incorrectly. At first, I just assumed that the spell checker didn't know the cool spelling of it and ignored it. Only when I went back and went through it a second time did I realize I misspelled one of my own names! See, I told you I was a bad speller, but you didn't believe me, did you?)

Maybe it's my computer. It's still doing it for me.
Liz, it's just that the other nerds are mean to me, sometimes.
And I don't remember calling anyone else a nerd. Or did you also post a topic instead of e-mailing him out of some bizarre concern for his e-mail megabyte limits? If so, then yes, you are a nerd.
This is such an embarrassing topic.
And now that I've used my daily limit of smilies, I'm out of here. I can't believe I'm missing a Chiefs game for this! Not that we're really watching it all that closely. We are about to be hammered by a really bad storm and it would seem that dopplar radar is more exciting than the football right now. That should tell you about what's coming. My husband has been watching the weather on another channel rather than watch his favorite team!
Oh no, now I've gone over my limit!

No, Kayla, I just meant that, if knowing all that about the Cards, and worrying about their email space, makes one a nerd, then there are a whole lot of Hatrackers who are nerds. Which, basically, I think we know.

Okay, then I agree with you. We are nerds. Sorry about calling you names. It was unintentional.
Liz is a nerd!
Now see, that was entirely on purpose.
So, am I really the only one for whom that page is screwed up? (That just sounds weird, but I'll leave it anyway.)

Kayla, I would tease you about that, as I did with Dag and his pornographic hallucinations, but I don't know. Isn't it really just sort of sad that that is your hallucination?
Edit to add: (Only from a non-nerd's viewpoint)

I'm convinced you all saw the porn ad and just messin' with me.
Otherwise, I have to question why you can turn a blind eye to the evils of the world like that. Maybe you see so much that you don't notice it any more...

You know, I didn't know that a lot of that was even out there till my Norton firewall ran out and they didn't have any more at the store, so I got McAfee. Holy cow, what a difference that made. So, if you don't have Norton, that might be why you are getting it and no else seems to.

The ads are put here by Google. Try going to google and putting a stronger filter on your search results (I believe there are three levels). I don't know if that would do anything, but it's worth a try.
