I pride myself on being a nonmaterialistic, liberal borderline socialist.
I'm a fraud.
KoL has unlocked a part of me that has previously been unknown. For those of you who frequent Kingdom of Loathing, you know that many people have been manipulating the costs of goods and amassing personal fortunes by putting outrageous prices on relatively worthless items.
And there are people gullible enough to pay those prices.
Who would have dreamed I would become one of those profiteers???
I scour the market for grossly underpriced items and horde goods until something happens to make them skyrocket. Then I start selling.
I'm getting good at it. I enjoy it. I am getting a kick out of charging gullible players astronomical prices for worthless items.
I just hope my parents don't find out.
If Diane finds out, she'll leave me.
My uncle was a conservative capitalist - I must have had some of his genes lying dormant. Obviously, my Dad must be a carrier.

What gets me is how comedic signatures are sometimes. They are pretty much without sentiment/totally neutral. So for Space to say something so emotional, and then to end it with a neutral sig...I don't know, it just cracks me up.

Sndrake, the first step to recovery is admitting your fatal flaw. On Dag's porn thread, we have learned that hiding the truth from oneself only leads to Freudian hallucinations. So sad, that.

If you change that to "skills" I will definitely check them out. I am in the mood for a margarits-rocks-just a bit of salt. Thanks.

What is wrong with making money? Anyone with enough disposable cash to pay for the items deserves to lose it.

You know, it starts small. A little meat here, a little meat there. Pretty soon you're trading futures on Easy-Bake Ovens (or whatever the doo-hickeys are) and then it's just a short skip down the primrose path to burnin' and pillagin' and settin' up offshore accounts.
