My best friend on the Appalachian trail is no longer there: she had to quit May 21 because she ran out of money. She and her boyfriend did 850 miles and both lost quite a bit of weight. My sister happened to be camping near where they were and gave them a ride back to Jersey. I'm still really proud of her, though.
As for me: I am techinally a college graduate, because I am having techinical difficulties which will hopefully be resolved tomorrow.
My car is down, has been for a while. My stepfather took it apart May 7 for a tune-up and timing belt (ended up doing the water pump, too). I got it back Memorial day weekend and lost it again after a week because it was belching blue smoke. I need a new engine. Decided I'd rather be inconvenienced for a month or two rather than buy a new car.
I'm getting told to go to bed, so I will blather more later!
Great to be back!

Things got worse--as Grenme folk already know. I got into an accident--I rear-ended someone. Thankfully no one was hurt, but my sister's car is smashed in the front (no engine damage, and drivable, but still smashed). It was all my fault. Nothing I can do now to reverse it, just keep going. (no pun intended)
My honey got into one 3 days later. He's okay, and he's very lucky to be--could have been seriously injured or killed. But--since neither of us can travel 40 miles, we haven't seen each other since my accident on June 15.
I suppose it's not a big deal, but, I don't feel very happy about it. I just would really like to see him.
Anyways. I still haven't gotten around the red tape. Hopefully today it's resolved. I'm still in the process of editing a big project, that's why I haven't been around.
