I've had it with bloody AIM on Windows - cluttering up my screen with a gazillion pop-ups every time I switch on the computer, so I'm uninstalling it and going to go to something like Trillian instead.

So how do I invite myself into Hatrack Chat with Trillian, since I've been so far unsucessful - which is why I installed AIM in the first place?

I use AIM+ and don't get popups... *shrugs*

I can't find my link, but if you google AIM plus you should be able to find it.

I couldn't go to hatrack chat directly through trillian, either. Try adding your name to your buddy list and inviting yourself.

If you use gaim, you can have it setup to automatically log you into chat when you sign on.
