Here's how it works. Either post a link to a decent, full-body picture of yourself or post a detailed description of your coloring, features, and figure. Then post the color that you would like to wear, length preferences, and favorite designer (if you have one). I will then post a picture of the outfit (complete with hair, makeup, and jewelry) that I recommend and you are free to break my heart and reject it or do the right thing and accept it and look fabulous.
here is a pic of me in the most formal thing I own. I like long, twirly skirts and whimsy kind of stuff. I also dig modesty, but I've been known to wear sleeveless tops have some kind of coverup with it (see that red skirt? The belt thing is actually a wrap that I wore with a matching sleeveless top for my senior prom). As far as coloring, mary kay 100 (about the palest color they have) matches my face perfectly, and I have blue eyes. And I like wearing my hair up on formal occasions.
sarcasticmuppet, could you be more specific about whimsy? Do you mean Bjork whimsy, Cameron Diaz whimsy, or another, better kind? I have a couple of things in mind already. BTW, you chose the only red shade that I like on fair-skinned blondes.

I'm about 5'4', have long (LONG... my pic doesn't do it justice), curly red hair, very fair skin... Like muppet, I like long flowing skirts and such (I adore them... I have about 30), not anything really tight fitting, and certainly nothing short. Anything else you need to know? Here's a reference picture, but it's not a very good one... I need to get a new one up there, I don't like this one much.

I love the Caroline, Mrs M! Maybe I could wear it if you choose the Oscar?
I have pale skin, very black curly hair that was very short but is now just an annoying length as I grow it out and hazely green eyes. I'm also short-ish.
And I have no waist.
Think you can work with that?

imogen, you made my decision for me. You would look stunning in the Caroline. But, you will have to wear VERY high heels (at least 3.5 inches). And your hair very similar to the models.
Raia, how about this one? It's from the Michael Kors Spring RTW collection.
SO, I'm not exactly sure, which is why I put my pics on Yahoo.
Kat, I'm going to have to think about it for a little bit. I can't decide whether to go stunning-soft or stunning-severe.

OK after much messing around my link above actually takes you to the right page now - for some reason it's not the right post - the one I'm referring to is the very last one on page 2 if you're interested.
Anyway after much thought however I think I'd prefer to have something along these lines
Gown style but in purple fabric with gold trim and with a sweetheart neckline (this pictures not that flattering but I look good in this style - when fitted of course). It must have the wench belt too as shown in the first picture.
P.S. I adore this website - I'm convinced I'm getting my wedding dress from here - never mind its in the US and I live in the UK - oh and the other small detail of having no-one to marry either.

Ok, since no one will tell me how to post my picture, here is my physical description: 5' 5", petite figure. Dark brown hair, very short. Brown eyes, slighty-olive tone complexion. Give me something that shows some leg!

Not yet. You need to make the album public. After you open the album, click on Edit Album Info. It's under Advanced Sharing Settings.

I have the very short, Jamie Lee Curtis haircut, light brown, fair coloring, green eyes. I've got great long graceful fingers for very large rings. Here's a picture of me before the haircut.
I also need sleeves...cause I'm a Marmon.
I love the dress you picked out for muppet. That's a gorgeous one for her coloring.

I agree that Space Opera is in fact Jamie Lee Curtis in disguise. I thought the same when I saw her photo.

Hmmmmm. Annie, what about this one? We could easily pull the sleeves up so that they cover your shoulders without changing the lines of the dress.

Mrs. M, that's beautiful! I love the skirt on it (so diaphanous), and v/sweetheart necklines are my favorite. Posts: 26077 | Registered: Mar 2000

Can't I just wear jeans and a T-shirt? I mean, are the Rackademy Awards really a super-formal thing?

Kat, I'm so glad you like it. I'm thinking your hair in a loose knot at the base of your neck and soft, dewey makeup. I'm not sure about any jewelry. Definitely no necklaces. High-heeled sandals, probably black metallic.
fallow, you might have to do a couple of quick changes. Give me a pic and let me think about it for a while.
